Corroborating witness

An individual who provides testimony that supports or confirms the statements or claims made by another witness or party in a legal proceeding. Their testimony does not necessarily establish a fact independently but adds credibility and weight to existing evidence. The presence of a corroborating witness can significantly strengthen a case by reducing doubts about the primary evidence.
