Discretionary trust

A legal arrangement where the trustee has full authority to decide how and when to distribute the trust's assets to the beneficiaries. The beneficiaries do not have an absolute right to the income or capital of the trust. This type of trust offers flexibility and asset protection, often used for estate planning or protecting vulnerable beneficiaries.
