Double wills
Term · Law · MLC-T-LAW-001745
Two separate wills made by two people, such as spouses, in which each names the other as the main beneficiary under a similar plan; another name for reciprocal wills. Unlike mutual wills, which rest on a binding contract not to revoke, double wills by themselves carry no such obligation, so either spouse can usually change their own will later.
