Express authority

Power explicitly granted to an agent by a principal, either orally or in writing, to act on the principal's behalf. This authority is clearly defined and leaves no room for ambiguity regarding the agent's scope of action. It is distinct from implied authority, which is inferred from the circumstances or the nature of the agency.
