Integration clause

A provision in a contract stating that the written document constitutes the parties' entire and final agreement, superseding all prior discussions and understandings. This clause is also known as a merger clause or entire agreement clause. It is used to invoke the parol evidence rule, limiting the introduction of outside evidence to interpret the contract.
