Natural born citizen

A person who is a citizen of a country from birth, without needing to go through a naturalization process. In the United States, this status is generally understood to include individuals born in the U.S. or born abroad to U.S. citizen parents. The U.S. Constitution requires the President and Vice President to be natural born citizens.
