Special power of attorney

A legal document that grants an agent the authority to act on behalf of the principal for a specific, limited purpose or for a defined period. This contrasts with a general power of attorney, which confers broad authority. For example, it might authorize an agent to sell a particular piece of property or manage a specific financial transaction.
