Antenna pattern
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-003554
A graphical representation of the spatial distribution of the radiated or received power of an antenna, showing its directional characteristics. This pattern illustrates the main lobe, side lobes, and back lobes, indicating where the antenna is most sensitive. For weather radar, a narrow main lobe is desired for high angular resolution.
