Banded structure

A meteorological phenomenon characterized by the appearance of elongated, parallel, or nearly parallel cloud formations or precipitation patterns. These structures often indicate organized atmospheric flow, such as convergence zones or frontal boundaries. Examples include cloud streets, squall lines, and the spiral bands observed in tropical cyclones.
