Bolling-Allerod

A relatively warm and moist interstadial period that occurred during the last deglaciation, marking a temporary amelioration of glacial conditions. It followed the Last Glacial Maximum and preceded the Younger Dryas cold reversal. This period is identified in paleoclimatic records through changes in pollen, ice cores, and sediment composition.
