Boundary conditions
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-003995
The set of physical constraints or values specified at the edges or limits of a computational domain in atmospheric or oceanic models. These conditions define how the system interacts with its surroundings and are necessary for solving differential equations that govern fluid flow and transport. Examples include fixed temperatures at a surface or zero velocity at a solid boundary.
