Chronothermometer

A device that records temperature over time, often producing a continuous trace or discrete readings at regular intervals. While not a standard meteorological instrument today, early versions were used to monitor temperature fluctuations in specific environments. Modern meteorological stations use electronic sensors and data loggers for continuous temperature recording.
