A family of twin-engine business jets manufactured by Cessna that are frequently modified for use as atmospheric research aircraft. Scientists equip these planes with a suite of instruments to collect in-situ data on atmospheric composition, cloud physics, and air quality. Their operational flexibility, including high-altitude capability and payload capacity, makes them suitable platforms for a variety of airborne field campaigns.
