Corrected altitude

The true vertical distance of an aircraft or object above mean sea level, adjusted for atmospheric pressure and temperature deviations from standard conditions. This differs from indicated altitude, which is read directly from an altimeter. Pilots use corrected altitude for accurate navigation and terrain clearance, especially in non-standard atmospheric conditions.
