Creeping flow
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004750
A fluid flow characterized by a very low Reynolds number, where viscous forces dominate over inertial forces. In such flows, the fluid moves slowly and smoothly, with minimal turbulence or eddy formation. This type of flow is relevant in atmospheric science for phenomena involving very small particles or extremely slow air movements.
