Degree of saturation
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004906
The ratio of the actual amount of water vapor present in the air to the maximum amount of water vapor the air can hold at a given temperature and pressure. This is commonly expressed as a percentage, known as relative humidity. When the degree of saturation reaches 100%, the air is saturated, and condensation can occur.
