Deterministic
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004952
Describing a system or model where the future state is entirely determined by its current state and known physical laws, without any element of randomness. In meteorology, a deterministic forecast produces a single predicted outcome for future weather conditions. This contrasts with probabilistic or ensemble forecasts, which provide a range of possible outcomes.
