Digital filter
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005018
A mathematical algorithm applied to a digitized signal to modify its frequency components, either by enhancing or suppressing specific ranges. These filters are implemented using computational processes rather than physical electronic components. They are widely used in meteorological data processing to remove noise or isolate particular atmospheric signals.
