Dynamic meter
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005207
A unit of geopotential used mainly in oceanography to express dynamic height, equal to 10 square meters per second squared, or 10 joules per kilogram. It is the work done per unit mass against gravity. One dynamic meter is about 1.02 geopotential meters, so one geopotential meter is about 0.98 dynamic meter.
