Equatorial air
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005414
A type of air mass originating in the equatorial regions, characterized by high temperatures and high humidity due to intense solar radiation and abundant moisture availability. These air masses are typically unstable, leading to frequent convection, thunderstorms, and heavy precipitation. They contribute significantly to the global heat and moisture transport within the Hadley Cell.
