Hazen method
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-006182
A statistical method used in hydrology to estimate flood frequencies or other extreme events from a series of annual maximum values. It involves plotting the ordered data on probability paper and fitting a line to determine recurrence intervals. This method is one of several empirical approaches for hydrologic frequency analysis.
