Limited fine-mesh model

A numerical weather prediction model that covers a specific, smaller geographical region with a higher spatial resolution compared to global models. These models are nested within larger-scale models, using their output as boundary conditions. They are used for detailed forecasts of regional weather phenomena, such as severe thunderstorms or localized precipitation.
