Hemispheric model

A numerical weather prediction model that simulates atmospheric processes and forecasts weather conditions across an entire hemisphere, typically the Northern or Southern Hemisphere. These models have a coarser spatial resolution compared to regional models but cover a much larger geographical domain. They are used for medium-range and long-range forecasting.
