Fine-mesh grid
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005579
A computational grid used in numerical weather prediction models that features a high spatial resolution, with grid points spaced closely together. This allows for the representation of smaller-scale atmospheric features and processes. Such grids are often nested within coarser grids to provide detailed forecasts for specific regions.
