Liquid water static energy

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-006996

A thermodynamic quantity representing the total energy of an air parcel, including its internal energy, potential energy, and the latent heat associated with its liquid water content. This concept is an extension of moist static energy, accounting for the energy stored in condensed liquid water. It is conserved during adiabatic processes involving phase changes of water.
