Marching problem
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-007106
A type of numerical problem where the solution at a future time step or spatial location is computed sequentially based on the solution at previous steps. This approach is common in numerical weather prediction models, where atmospheric conditions are advanced forward in time. The accuracy of the solution at each step depends on the stability and precision of the numerical scheme.
