Mesothermal climate

A climate type characterized by moderate temperatures, lacking the extremes of either tropical heat or polar cold. These climates are found in mid-latitude regions, experiencing distinct warm and cold seasons. The Köppen climate classification system designates these as C climates, including Mediterranean, humid subtropical, and marine west coast types.
