Meteorological satellite

An artificial satellite equipped with sensors to observe and collect data on Earth's atmosphere and surface, providing a global perspective on weather and climate. These satellites operate in either geostationary or polar orbits, capturing images and measurements of clouds, temperature, water vapor, and aerosols. Examples include GOES and MetOp satellites.
