Modulus

A measure of the magnitude or intensity of a physical quantity, often representing a coefficient or a ratio that describes a material's property or a system's response. In meteorology, it can refer to the magnitude of a vector quantity, such as the speed component of wind velocity. Young's modulus describes a material's stiffness.
