Parabolic antenna
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-007795
A type of antenna that uses a parabolic reflector to direct radio waves. The parabolic shape focuses incoming parallel rays to a single focal point or, conversely, broadcasts signals from a feed antenna at the focal point into a narrow beam. These antennas are widely used in radar systems and satellite communication due to their high gain and directivity.
