Paraffins

A group of saturated hydrocarbons, also known as alkanes, with the general formula CnH2n+2. While not directly atmospheric constituents, they are components of fossil fuels and can be released into the atmosphere during combustion or evaporation. These compounds contribute to air pollution and can participate in atmospheric chemical reactions.
