Photopic vision
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-010665
The type of vision that occurs in well-lit conditions, primarily mediated by the cone cells in the retina. It allows for high spatial resolution and color perception due to the different spectral sensitivities of the three types of cones. This contrasts with scotopic vision, which operates in low light and is mediated by rod cells.
