Pixel value
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-007956
The numerical data assigned to an individual pixel in a digital image, representing a specific measurement or characteristic at that location. In meteorological remote sensing, this value can correspond to parameters like brightness temperature, reflectivity, or cloud top height. These values are often scaled to a range of 0 to 255 for display as an 8-bit image.
