Pole of inaccessibility

A geographical point that is the most difficult to reach due to its distance from coastlines or other defined boundaries. In a terrestrial context, the Northern Pole of Inaccessibility is the point in the Arctic Ocean farthest from any landmass, while the Southern Pole of Inaccessibility is the point in Antarctica farthest from the Southern Ocean. These locations represent extreme isolation and often experience unique meteorological conditions.
