Psu

A unit of salinity, representing the practical salinity scale. This scale is based on the electrical conductivity of seawater relative to a standard potassium chloride solution at a specific temperature and pressure. One psu is approximately equivalent to one gram of dissolved salts per kilogram of seawater.
