Radar interferometry
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-008268
A technique that uses two or more radar antennas, or repeated observations from a single antenna, to measure small changes in surface topography or displacement. By analyzing the phase difference between radar signals, it can detect ground deformation, ice sheet movement, and other subtle changes. Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) interferometry is a common application.
