Random forecast

A forecast that predicts future atmospheric conditions based on purely random chance, without any scientific basis or consideration of current or past meteorological data. Such a forecast serves as a baseline or null hypothesis against which the skill of actual meteorological forecasts can be objectively evaluated. Its accuracy is equivalent to guessing.
