Reaction rate

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-008430

The speed at which a chemical reaction proceeds, typically expressed as the change in concentration of a reactant or product per unit time. In atmospheric chemistry, this rate is influenced by factors such as temperature, pressure, and the concentration of reacting species. It determines how quickly pollutants are transformed or removed from the atmosphere.
