Stilling-well gauges

Instruments used to measure water levels, typically in oceans, lakes, or rivers, that are housed within a stilling well to minimize the effects of waves and turbulence. These gauges provide a stable platform for accurate readings of water height over time. Common types include float-operated recorders and pressure transducers.
