Stomatal resistance
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-009272
The resistance to the diffusion of water vapor and carbon dioxide through the stomata, which are small pores on the surface of plant leaves. This resistance is a key factor in regulating transpiration and photosynthesis, influencing the exchange of gases between the plant and the atmosphere. It is measured in units of seconds per meter (s/m).
