Tented ice

A formation of ice on a body of water where the ice sheet buckles upwards, forming a tent-like or ridge-like structure. This occurs due to compressive stresses within the ice, often caused by thermal expansion or wind-driven movement. It is a common feature in frozen lakes and rivers.
