Total pressure

The sum of the static pressure and the dynamic pressure in a moving fluid. It represents the pressure that would be measured if the fluid were brought to rest isentropically. In meteorology, it is often referred to as stagnation pressure and is relevant in understanding airflow around objects like aircraft or meteorological instruments.
