A band of ultraviolet radiation with wavelengths ranging from approximately 315 to 400 nanometers. This is the longest wavelength of UV radiation and constitutes the majority of UV radiation reaching the Earth's surface. It can penetrate deeply into the skin and is associated with skin aging and indirect DNA damage.
