Water budget
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-010100
An accounting of the inputs, outputs, and storage changes of water within a defined system, such as a watershed, a region, or the entire Earth. It considers processes like precipitation, evaporation, transpiration, runoff, and groundwater flow.
