Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000093

An organic compound whose carbon skeleton is not aromatic, either an open chain, straight or branched, or a non-aromatic ring such as cyclohexane. It can be saturated, as in alkanes, or contain double or triple bonds, as in alkenes and alkynes.
