Annular production

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000132

The flow of hydrocarbons or other fluids to the surface through the annular space between the production tubing and the casing. This method is sometimes used when the tubing is blocked or to produce from multiple zones simultaneously. It requires careful monitoring to prevent uncontrolled flow and maintain well integrity, often regulated by specific wellhead configurations.
