Annular flow
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000129
A flow regime in multiphase pipelines where a liquid film coats the inner wall of the pipe, and gas flows as a continuous core in the center. This pattern is common in vertical or inclined pipes at high gas velocities. Annular flow is characterized by the entrainment of liquid droplets within the gas core.
