Taitel-Dukler
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003755
A widely used flow regime map and correlation for predicting two-phase flow patterns in horizontal and inclined pipes. This model considers fluid properties, pipe geometry, and superficial velocities of the gas and liquid phases to delineate boundaries between flow patterns such as stratified, annular, and slug flow. It provides a theoretical framework for understanding and predicting multiphase flow behavior in wellbores and pipelines.
