Multiphase
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002478
Describing the simultaneous flow of two or more distinct fluid phases, such as oil, water, and natural gas, within a wellbore or pipeline. These phases can interact in complex ways, forming different flow patterns depending on their relative proportions, velocities, and fluid properties. Multiphase flow is common in hydrocarbon production from reservoirs.
