Multiphase holdup log
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002480
A production log that measures the individual volumetric fractions of oil, water, and gas flowing simultaneously in a wellbore. This log provides a profile of fluid distribution along the well, indicating where each phase is present and in what proportion. It is typically derived from measurements by capacitance, resistance, or density tools.
